The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Since we wanted to extend our stay and there was only the suite left we were provided a very nice upgrade from the front office manager Paul. This left us with an unique experience of the hotel and Lucerne. We also really liked the private terrace area in front of the lake. Big thumbs up from us. We were upgraded to a room that had balcony overseeing the lake!!! Surrounding area was worth seeing .. u can just walk around to reach the lake and also trek around!! I would definitely recommend!! We also got a very warm and welcoming reception by the hotel staffs before and during check-in

They put us in the newer building in a lake view room at no extra charge. It was quite a treat for us. I think they had plenty of rooms open that night.
