Rigi is just across the lake and there is an unobstructed view of the summit. I don't know the age of the hotel but has the appearance of being old, yet has modern facilities. Breakfast was nice and included hot items. There is a small well-stocked grocery within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were greeted by a kind lady at reception who proceeded to tell us we had been upgraded and gave us a tasty welcome drink - an apple juice from the region. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake and was extremely comfortable with a free mini bar, good sized TV, bath robes and a large bed. Thanks for everything!

It was quite a treat for us. I think they had plenty of rooms open that night. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.
