Rigi is just across the lake and there is an unobstructed view of the summit. I don't know the age of the hotel but has the appearance of being old, yet has modern facilities. Breakfast was nice and included hot items. There is a small well-stocked grocery within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was geared towards the residents but still had a nice selection of snacks and drinks.

Room was super clean, spacious, modern, I liked the touch-control hub for all lights in the room. Only awkward thing, the shower curtain blocks out the bathroom light so you have to shower with it open, and the bathroom window opens on to the road. We were greeted by a kind lady at reception who proceeded to tell us we had been upgraded and gave us a tasty welcome drink - an apple juice from the region. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake and was extremely comfortable with a free mini bar, good sized TV, bath robes and a large bed. Thanks for everything!

The grounds are beautiful and right on the lake with chairs and tables to enjoy. Also loved the sauna and attached relaxation room.MichelleUnited States of America

It was quite a treat for us. I think they had plenty of rooms open that night. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Just a pity our balcony view of the lake was through mist! Superb breakfast.
