Innertkirchen is a quiet village. The environment is great and there is a Coop in Meringen which is not far. But please note that all supermarkets are closed on Sunday. So prepare what you need in advance for Sunday.

The owner and all the staff were the friendliest, most accommodating people. The facilities really are excellent and brand new. Lovely breakfast, good quality food. The restaurant for dinner was also good quality. The place is very well connected to everything you might want to visit and to Luzern and Zürich, trains run like clockwork.

This place has a lot of charm and the hotel staff was very helpful and kind. There's a fridge with an honor bar type situation. We paid for the beers on the way out. There's a bus stop close to the hotel that comes by once an hour until 6pm. The train station is just at the bottom of the hill, about 8 minute walk. I would highly recommend staying here in this small town on the outskirts of a more booked up Guttannen.

He waited for us to reach the property to handover the key. We were really happy. The river at the door step was really nice. There are couple of restaurants near by which provide very tasty food but bit expensive. The Hotel itself offers breakfast which is okay for the price.

The place is lost in the wilderness in a magical scenery. You can't find it unless you know it's there, which is probably why the whole place feels so authentic. We felt very welcome even for a short stay. Oh, and let's not forget the great food! We'll definitely come back if we visit Switzerland again.

We liked the friendly reception, the clean rooms and the close proximity of the Aareschluct which we visited prior to our stay.
