Innertkirchen is a quiet village. The environment is great and there is a Coop in Meringen which is not far. But please note that all supermarkets are closed on Sunday. So prepare what you need in advance for Sunday.

After 5 minutes of climbing you reach this wonderful hotel/restaurant where you can see amazing landscapes and spend the night listening to the sheep bells. The same road can get you to the lake Engstlensee a famous fishing spot in the region. The couple managing the facility was very nice and helpful and we even enjoyed a Jacuzzi with the kids.AmineFrance

Well appointed and spotlessly clean with large modern comfortable rooms in a quiet location - in early June at least ! Extremely welcoming host and family - a family run hotel for several generations and the pride is evident . Excellent evening meal and breakfast - it would have been good to stay longer. Another time ! Recommendations for motorbike routes was much appreciated !

I liked the rustic look and feel of the place. It is also very well maintained ( built in 1630!!) very clean and comfortable. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and polite and the food was delicious. We were passing through Switzerland but we'd love to come back for a holiday here. We liked the friendly reception, the clean rooms and the close proximity of the Aareschluct which we visited prior to our stay. The shower was excellent, spacious and quick hot water with good pressure. Breakfast had a good choice of possible foods.
