It's an amazing hotel (definitely more comfy than 3 stars would suggest) in a great region. Room was spacious and spotless, with really comfy beds. We couldn't hear our neighbors, and we hope they didn't hear our kid reenacting all songs from Mary Poppins. Breakfast is made to order and it's super delicious. Everything served was fresh and tasty. They had a choice for everyone in the family, including the grumpy toddler.

Great location, awesome and friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel sits right on the exit of Zernez, basically at the door of the National Park, is easily reached on foot from the train station (or the nearest bus stop, less than a hundred meters away) or by car (ample parking space available). As for the restaurant, everything we had was delicious.

Amid the beautiful mountain landscape of the Engadine, the Schlosshotel Chastè enjoys an exceptionally quiet location in the holiday village of Tarasp, 4.3 mi from Scuol.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace in our junior suite which was spacious, warm, and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from hooks in the right places to enough hangars to coffee pods. The hotel is beautifully decorated, reflecting its long history. It's obvious that the family is very proud of their hotel and deservedly so.
