It is not a hotel, it is home. The people there treat you like you are one of the family or owner of the room. From the entry olivier will welcome you and give all the support you need. Then the front desk will finalize all your paper and you will enjoy the room. Room size is very big and it is very clean and comfortable. Then you go to the restaurant, the chef Francisco is fabulous he will treat you like a king. The spa is deferent story, it is very big and you have multiple choices of steam room and sauna and outdoor Jacuzzi. Then hotel shuttle is also amazing they have Aston martin available to droop you to locations near the hotel. Thanks for everyone who was part of welcoming us and making our trip so enjoyable (Edgar, olivier, lara)

Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks.
Coop cafe is good and relatively cheap for budget conscious travellers.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Almost all the houses are in chalet style, which gives the place a special charm. Lots of walking possibilities, also for seniors, and there are many lifts up the mountains.

Hiking and taking a lift to the top of the mountains was absolutely incredible. Very good signs made hiking between towns in the area simple and very rewarding views. Food in all towns was very very good, maybe best meal we had in the country.
the hotel is very clean and has a modern style interior, everything was up to date , location although not in gstaad but was nice and quiet, the room was looking the mountain and train station , all room amenities was great , we didn’t think that the designer forgot one thing of the guest needs to be there . it was amazing.
and regarding the staff I really think they deserve 10/10 for their welcoming attitude and smiling faces all day and night , always will to help .
room service was also very quick.
The location is the main advantage of this hotel. It lies on the Gstaad boulevard. This boulevard is like an authentic Swiss village street with lots of very expensive shops. Nothing too original. During the day it is very crowded but at night it is quit (end december). Restaurants in the area are nice, some very good but almost all are extremely expensive. (think 28 euro for a single starter). A nice skating ring is next to the hotel, as well as a public parking garage.
The hotel is in the best location, it’s opposite Gstaad train station and right next to the main promenade with all the bars, restaurants and shops.
Our room had an amazing view and the staff were extremely helpful and gave some excellent recommendations on where to eat, drink and ski.
The Spa was also top notch! As well as the hotel’s chalet interior design and parking.
Their staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and has a huge balcony overlooking the beautiful mountain. Food at their restaurant was very good. Their wide spread of breakfast which is included in the price of the room was simply excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends for their visit to Gstaad.
Hotel Kernen could do a master class in how to provide the perfect breakfast buffet - it was beyond fabulous. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was outside the centre of Gstaad which was a plus as it was peaceful but guests got a free pass on the train into Gstaad from Schönried station just behind the hotel.
This was really a great luxury hotel experience with very high standard on everything and an exceptionally service-minded and attentive staff. The playroom is a great plus if you travel with small children. The location, in a large garden literally in the centre of Gstaad is also great. Very good value for money.
Location: Far from the noise of the city center but 5 minutes drive and they offer free shuttle service.
Spa: One word; Amazing!
Service: Prompt.
Staff: friendly and always available.
View: Honestly not the best but still beautiful.
Overall: it was one of the most special hotel experiences in Switzerland !
Breakfast was good and plentiful, though because we were hiking to the next village, we wished it started a bit earlier. Staff was lovely, and the hotel is charming. I loved opening my window to hear the sounds of the children playing at the nearby schoolyard, and breathe the fresh air.
Best sushi ever we hade !
Amazing hotel Restaurants and service.
Wonderful kids oriented place! Pool, kids club, several playgrounds inside and outside. Kids menu. All kids amenities at the room - including changing table, diapers trash and baby bath.
Will def return !
Super cute, comfy and beautiful place. It’s located between Gstaad and Glacier3000, so perfect place for skiing.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. We even got a surprise chocolate for Easter Sunday!
I would definitely recommend this place.
The location is great, the hotel is about 3 minutes away from the ski-lift.
The hotel is clean and our room was pretty. Concerning the breakfast: Good selection. The bread was excellent. The hotel also managed to serve us gluten-free bread.
The Hotel is a very traditional, family run property right in the centre of Gstaad. Since there is no traffic in this zone, the night was very quiet and peaceful. The service was very personal and professional. The food is excellent.
Location is absolutely fantastic, the hotel lobby is so cool and the DJ on weekends is amazing.
Friendly staff, excellent food. The pool and spa facilities are great too.
Best features: clean and modern inside, comfortable. Fantastic breakfast buffet. A block from the bus stop. Convenient to downtown Gstaad and the Tissot Walk Glacier 3000.
