Plenty of choices for breakfast. Really enjoyed all the staff. Husband was skiing for the first time so was great having the instructors right out the door plus the fact you can rent all the equipment right on the property. Anja, as always mentioned, runs the place extremely well. Feels like you're part of the family. Thank You to all!

Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks.
Coop cafe is good and relatively cheap for budget conscious travellers.

One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Almost all the houses are in chalet style, which gives the place a special charm. Lots of walking possibilities, also for seniors, and there are many lifts up the mountains.

Hiking and taking a lift to the top of the mountains was absolutely incredible. Very good signs made hiking between towns in the area simple and very rewarding views. Food in all towns was very very good, maybe best meal we had in the country.
the hotel is very clean and has a modern style interior, everything was up to date , location although not in gstaad but was nice and quiet, the room was looking the mountain and train station , all room amenities was great , we didn’t think that the designer forgot one thing of the guest needs to be there . it was amazing.
and regarding the staff I really think they deserve 10/10 for their welcoming attitude and smiling faces all day and night , always will to help .
room service was also very quick.
We stayed there for 2 nights and were in/out of Gstaad for an event. The hotel is 10 min walk from the center and 15 min from train station. The main receptionist was incredibly helpful and even drove me to the train station as the taxi never came and I had 10 min before departure. If you have very young kids who are learning to ski, the hotel is literally next to the "slope" so ideal for families and parking is free. The hotel has a large terrace in the sun which is nice.
Fantastic Property. Central location 5 minutes from train station and main street shops and restaurants. Staff is amazing and friendly, meals at restaurants on property were phenomenal. Half Board option for hotel guests was a great touch - four course menu that changes nightly and keeps things fresh. Beautiful amenities as well - spa and indoor pool were very nice. Would stay again in a heart beat if returning to Gstaad.
This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in Switzerland, it exceeded my expectations. The facilities, the restaurant, the spa are one of the biggest highlights. The buffet breakfast with bubbles is priceless, the cocktails at the bar amazing. The spa area with the pool is exceptional and the hotel is located in the main street next to the train station.
Modern classy decorated hotel. once u get back from skiing you don’t need to leave the hotel because everything is available inside: thousand of drinks in the bar with nice music and good atmosphere. The food is really good and u can have fondue anytime. i appreciated the fact that u can rent the skis inside the hotel with reasonable price.
I loved my stay at Hotel Kernen ! Close to railway station & walking distance to ski field. Very welcoming hotel & staff were amazing - Bruno the owner made a huge effort with his guests & is a lovely person.
Meals in the restaurant were divine . Highly recommend to stay here rather than in Gstaad town centre.
The room size was good and the balcony as well, had a wonderful view over the Saanen and Gstaad. The water kettle was provided in the room so we were able to make some tea (provide by hotel) and coffee (we brought ourselves). It was nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the mountains.
The room is clean and comfortable.
Window view is so nice and the temperature is all right.
Breakfast is good.
There's a beautiful church and it holds Gstaad Menuhin Festival there.
No cars here and good for walking.
The staff try their best to help me when I arrive lately.
Super cute, comfy and beautiful place. It’s located between Gstaad and Glacier3000, so perfect place for skiing.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. We even got a surprise chocolate for Easter Sunday!
I would definitely recommend this place.
The location is very good being 15 mins walk from Gstaad centre and 1 mins from ski lifts. The hotel rooms were spacious, they had all the amenities. An exclusive 1 hours slot use of the sauna room. Breakfast was good and dinner menu too.
