Everything was great at Alpina! It was a very cozy hotel at a very reasonable price. Location was perfect and literally right across the street from the gondola and walking distance to the grocery store, ski stores, and other restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff was wonderful (especially Summer), the spa was amazing, ski room was very convenient, view from the room was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was very good. Also, no issues with noise - the walls seemed quite thick. The spa was a really great feature (and free!) - we would book the time we wanted to go the night before and it was the perfect way to wind down after skiing (steam room, sauna, hot tub, spa beds). We are very pleased with our experience staying here and will definitely be coming back if we plan to ski again in Switzerland. We have already been telling friends and family to come stay here! Thank you Summer and co. for being a wonderful hosts to us!!

The location is such a lovely place with wonderful views into the valley. Calm and peaceful sourrindings.
Just be aware that the sockets are only fitting the thin plugs. My power cable for the laptop had a bigger one but the staff could provide me with an adapter socket.
The Hôtel Bella Tola & St-Luc was built at the end of the 19th century in the Val d'Anniviers valley. It offers panoramic views, an indoor pool, free Wi-Fi and free parking.

Nice place but it seems they start to turn it into a construction site, a lot of new development at higher altitude levels ; it still has charm but fear that this unknown gem is now fully exposed to foreign and domestic real estate investments. I come here for over 18 years and witnessed these gradual changes with mixed emotions. Also prices are hiked up seriously, dinner, supermarket, replacing a broken ski helmet with a new one etc...seems all 30 to 40 percent more expensive than comparable resorts in France .

Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains.
Grimentz is a very pretty village up on the mountains. But it is still small enough to be very quiet and cozy. Having a car helps a lot. You can also drive up to a dam and lake or even higher up to the glacier (Parking space at both locations). Cable car stations in the middle of the village with access to both mountain sides. Lots of shopping options.

It is a small, high altitude traditional village in Valais, in Anniviers valley. It has a great variety of hikes, one of the most beautiful lakes (Moiry) and glacier where you can reach very easily. It is not so crowded comparing with other much more ''comercial'' locations but it is offering much more than many of them

Grimentz is quite a quaint little village and interesting on its own to visit for one night but would be a great place to stay for longer in the summer or winter as there are good opportunities for hiking in summer and skiing etc in the winter. We were given free daily lift/bus passes for the whole of Val D’Anniviers for each day that we had stayed in a hotel in the valley - this was a very nice and welcome touch as we had spent the previous ten days in Zermatt where this wasn’t a feature.
It is right in the center of the village.
Parking not too far from hotel, remember there is no elevator.
Next to the creek that will bring music to your ears when you are out door or on your balcony.
I have called the hotel to inform that we will arrive late, the owner asked if we want dinner or not.
Best breakfast, everything is home made, fruits jams are also home made…
wonderful soft yoke eggs
Orange juice, coffee, even in room cafe maker is awesome.
Thanks to the owners that provided us one of our best stay while we visited Europe.
Everything was great! The room was beautiful, with nice wood paneling everywhere! Amazing views from the windows! The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was neat, it had a small window above the tub where you can lookout at the chalets & mountains! Breakfast was really delicious, especially the cheese! The atmosphere at dinner was old Swiss, with a variety of menu options! The staff was kind & friendly! Great location, right next to the picturesque walkways of old Grimentz village! Charming Hotel in a Charming Town! Thanks! 😊
The appartment was new, and really well fitted with great equipment. Very nice view, from the master bedroom and the living room and a balcony all around the appartment. The gym has very good equipment (rowing machine, ski training machine, elliptical, etc). Walking distance from all the main stores in Grimentz, the Gondola and Cable car and of course from the beautiful village itself. The person who welcomed us was really kind, and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back in the summer or winter.
Very nice well equipped modern apartment, in a fabulous location just a few metres from the slopes and very convenient for the main lift, bars and shops in the centre (all easy walking distance). Secure underground parking for one car. Good size apartment with balcony, plus boot and ski rooms. Hope to book again in the future.
The chalet is well equipped and well designed to fit 6 couples nicely. It has two shower/bathrooms and a kitchen with all amenities. It is furnished in the good tasteful quality of a second home , offers a wonderful view into the valley and the mountains around. We were unlucky with the weather, but felt at home.
Good location, at the foot of the old village, close to restaurants and also public transport. The hotel has been very nicely renovated with lovely bathrooms and comfortable bedding. The sauna was a plus, and while a little small, we enjoyed it every day after a good hike in the mountains.
good value for money, cosy, perfect location with only 8min walk to the ski-lifts (where they have locker rooms for your skis and boots etc.), good restaurant.
The property is spacious, quiet and well tended. There was a small issue with the bed covers, which was immediately fixed after a quick call. Thanks for that!
The owner Andrea and her staff are wonderful. The location in the village made it fun and easy. Hotel de Moiry is historic and charming, and very Swiss!
