Probably nobody stays in this hotel for fun. It's in one of the uglier cities in Switzerland so probably you have a (business) reason to be here. And then this hotel is OK (probably one of the best options in Grenchen) but not more than that. The rooms are very basic and functional. No decorations or spectacular views, but then again the shower was very large and comfortable. The building in which the hotel is housed is a rather ugly concrete seventies shopping center. The hotel is right on the main shopping street of Grenchen and there is (paid) parking very close to the hotel.

This stylish and modern hotel is located in the center of Moutier and only a 5-minute walk away from the train station. On-site private parking and free Wi-Fi are available free of charge.

The breakfast spread was beautiful and delicious. We shared the table with two other guests and had lovely conversation over options like granola, yogurt, fruit, bread, and a selection of cheeses. The host has a beautiful bathroom (not attached to the room) with a jacuzzi tub that was most welcomed after four days of skiing in the Alps. The host does not speak any English so we were challenged to reactivate our high school French. She is so outgoing and patient in her communication that it was delightful to try to figure out what she was telling us and we never felt like we didn’t understand her recommendations, offerings, or expectations. Highly recommended!
