Location was great, rooms have water view balconies. Lighting a little dark in the room and carpet had some stains but otherwise clean and quiet even with a young family in the next room. Indoor parking was nice. Pool and sauna a great bonus. I would stay there again!

This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

The hotel is situated on Lake Lucerne. I stayed at the hotel with my parents when I was 9 years old in 1968. The hotel has a perfect setting. The lake and the surrounding mountains are stunning. Our room had a lake view and was comfortable. We had a large balcony with a lake view. Breakfast was excellent. Eating breakfast on the lakeside terrace was a most pleasant start to the day.

We stayed at the chalet, such a nice, romantic room. Just be aware that it is a wooden chalet, so you hear every step. The bathroom was in a lower floor, so, a longer walk at night. The kids stayed in a very big and modern 8-bed room and had a blast! We had a very nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We are already planning to make this a yearly get-together spot!!

A memorable experience to be staying up high, if you want to try something different from a hotel in a town etc. It is easily reached by either of two cable cars, and once you are up there are great walks to explore Mt Rigi. Most of all, the hosts were really welcoming and helpful.

Free reserved parking just below the hotel. Good and fairly priced restaurant. Just 2 minutes from the lake shore and a swim (walk 250 meters to the right to find the park, from where the whole village goes for a swim).

We stayed here for one night while traveling by car, passed the Gotthard tunnel to cross border to Northern Italy. This hotel has a parking space which is very convenient.
