Restaurant was closed. Sauna was not working. At the bar, only our family and another couple, order placed at 18h10, received the drinks at 18h30, then the planchette at 18h45. way too slow.

The Mountain View’s from the bedroom balcony are exceptional, as are the spa facilities. This is a great stay for the whole family.

Excellent quality breakfast. Fresh and flavorful food. Excellent coffee. A bit later than expected (0830) but it made us slow down a bit which was great.

Located in the center of the village. Quaint hotel, has been well renovated. Staff is very welcoming, the rooms well appointed. There is no restaurant but a few excellent ones very close. Breakfast was very good. They had an afternoon tea with cakes that very appreciated. The hotel felt very homey

Great and friendly staff. The chef Antoine even gave us a ride downhill to catch our train..the restaurant serves excellent food for lunch and dinner, by the way.

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in Portes-du-Soleil. The ski resort is huge. We were able to never do the same run and lift three days in a row. Champery is a historic Suisse alpine village with nicely presented shops, bars and restaurants. Expect to spend approx +30% in Switzerland on everything - especially food. Be prepared that some shops take only cash and impose any cash withdrawal fees on you.

Champery is a quiet, pretty little Swiss village on the edge of a stunning ski area. There is ample choice of small restaurants in the village and once you are up the mountain (via chairlift or telepherique) you have access to one of the largest lifted ski areas in the world.
If the snow is not great, there is actually very little to do in the village in winter, so keep that in mind.

If you like alpine hiking, then I highly recommend going to Champery for a couple of days. The hikes up both sides of the valley from town are really nice - epic views, with steep trails that will really give you a good workout. The town itself is compact, and pretty lively (there was a "Jazz and Wine" event throughout town one evening I was there). There also are plenty of active things to do, including e-mountain biking, a rope park, paragliding, etc. Overall, a lovely place for a short alpine get-away.
The location was great being a short walking distance from from the main Champéry avenue where all of the bars and restaurants are.
The views of the snowy mountains were breathtaking.
The chalet style architecture and decor of the hotel really suited the area. We particularly liked the igloo room where we watched the football on the big screen.
The staff were friendly, young, down-to-earth and spoke English. They were knowledgeable of the area and gave good recommendations on the best places to eat etc.
The staff is amazing, provided very helpful information and help on booking of restaurant, ski transportation, parking and luggage arrangements.
The hotel helps you to park and allows you to park outside of the hotel after check out for a short while. They treat you as friends and the owner has a golden retriever to welcome you time to time at reception which make this trip super sweet! You will for sure enjoy it and worthy for the money!
Based on overall facility and experience, it is highly recommended!!
Clean & functional room. Very basic but perfectly fine for a couple of days when you just need a place to sleep. The sports center is incredible but the hotel feels almost like a dorm or hostel. Worked for us perfectly as we just needed a place to crash at the end of a busy and sporty day. The pool is great for an activity when the weather is less than ideal. Good value for money.

The Mountain View’s from the bedroom balcony are exceptional, as are the spa facilities. This is a great stay for the whole family.
Location, room space and gorgeous mountain view, spa and heated pool, very attentive staff, ambiance, snack bar, parking, dog friendly, near sport centre … everything was really nice. I also found the new year firework and live stage right next to the hotel were bonus. Would definitely love to come back!!
I cannot recommend Chalet Hestia enough, everything was perfect, welcoming and Christophe was only a door bell away if we needed anything (even down to Swiss adaptors when we didn't bring any!!). A lovely, warm and welcoming family, if we return to Champery we will 100% be staying here! 😊🎿
The location was great, the staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel had good facilities for a 3-star hotel. The added bonus of a spa, complimentary evening tea, and complimentary passes for regional activities made my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Location can't get any better in Champery - it's right next to the cable car, the shop and the train station.
Apartment is very well equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. They also provide a variety of games.
Very friendly staff, very well-designed room with everything you need within reach. Comfortable bed. Mountain View was spectacular. We didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant but the little town nearby has good restaurants.
The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and I could not expect more. The room view (with mountain view) was fantastic. Overall I strongly recommend this place to any traveler to Champery
The hotel is right in the centre of the village, the rooms are nice and clean, have everything you need. The most amazing part of this hotel is the staff, they’re beyond nice, the whole team is super pleasant.
Kelly and David and the other staff we so welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the new ice cream menu. Its a gem in a remote corner of Switzerland, with superb access to hiking trails.
directly on the slope. ascetic style, yet very comfortable and clean. very kind staff and nice food. the best is attirude. i seldomly give 10 out of 10. this is a case. we shall return!!!
Hotel was well located, 5min walks to the gondolas. Great place with kids as you have access to the centre sportif and all the activities ( swimming, skating).
