Perfect staff. The gentleman was welcoming, engaging and 'chauffeured' me through the check-in process from hello to the room door. There seemed in him a passion and interest to hone his hospitality skills to perfection. A small shed behind the building was especially made available for the safe and dry storage of my bike. The room was small but sufficient with a terrace door leading directly onto a sprawling roof top lounge with stunning mountain views. Downstairs, an excellent restaurant.
Hotel Eggishorn is directly on the ski slopes, at 7.2 feet above sea level. The large sun terrace offers a view of the Matterhorn and Wi-Fi is free in public areas.
