The location was superb. I asked for birthday decor and indeed they had some birthday balloons in the room when i arrived. Very thoughtful and made my birthday special. They also made me check in earlier than 3pm when I arrived and when I asked for late checkout, they allowed that too.

This small and tranquil village at the lake is an ideal stop when travelling by car. It offers wondeful views of the lake and the mountains and some really nice hotels and restaurants that exceeded our expectations. We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal. The lake and mountain view is just so bueatiful. The breakfast is exellent. Many variety food and drinks to choose. We enojoyed eating breakfast on the patio with the view of Lake of Luzane and the Mountain every monring. The access to the Hotel is easy. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. the front desk has bus schedule to let you know when next one is coming. It takes 15 min bus to the train station, then take anther 15 min train to the city of Luzane. Or you can walk for 5 min to the Ferry station from the Hotel and ride boat to the City of Luzane. The transpotation in Switzland is so easy and conveniently to use.FengUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Beckenried is a good base from which you can visit the area. There is a cable car to the Klewenalp with many walking possibilities, the boats call at Beckenried and you can take trips all over the lake.

great hotel & location, but with no air con in rooms & rubbish service in an over priced restaurant run by inefficient staff who seem to rush around not paying attention to the customers, one order missed then delivered 10 minutes after the first order arrived & missing a vital ingredient no applogies made very indifferent staff on the night. Needs sorting & contact back to me regarding a ruined meal.

If you plan to drive your car into Lucerne, you'll pay steep prices for parking because -- it's Switzerland:) The view of the lake (hotel is situated right on it!) is stunning! The property/decor is updated and beautiful as well. You can sit and enjoy food & drinks with a wonderful view of the lake & mountains. Resturant has very good food and staff is very kind. Free parking on side which is normally very difficult around the lake. If you have a dog, I recommend to go up the hill , around lake there is almost no grass. Its quite a walk up hill but very beautiful. Very close to the lif to many hikes, we took as well boat across the lake , we had great time !
