This small and tranquil village at the lake is an ideal stop when travelling by car. It offers wondeful views of the lake and the mountains and some really nice hotels and restaurants that exceeded our expectations. Lots of sights and possible activities within a 30 minute drive from here.

We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal. The lake and mountain view is just so bueatiful. The breakfast is exellent. Many variety food and drinks to choose. We enojoyed eating breakfast on the patio with the view of Lake of Luzane and the Mountain every monring. The access to the Hotel is easy. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. the front desk has bus schedule to let you know when next one is coming. It takes 15 min bus to the train station, then take anther 15 min train to the city of Luzane. Or you can walk for 5 min to the Ferry station from the Hotel and ride boat to the City of Luzane. The transpotation in Switzland is so easy and conveniently to use.

Beckenried is a good base from which you can visit the area. There is a cable car to the Klewenalp with many walking possibilities, the boats call at Beckenried and you can take trips all over the lake.

great hotel & location, but with no air con in rooms & rubbish service in an over priced restaurant run by inefficient staff who seem to rush around not paying attention to the customers, one order missed then delivered 10 minutes after the first order arrived & missing a vital ingredient no applogies made very indifferent staff on the night. Needs sorting & contact back to me regarding a ruined meal.

Thought I had reviewed this hotel before, but got it confused with another hotel we stayed in! This hotel was very good, lovely situation on Lake Lucerne. Having dinner on the edge of the lake was special. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Schlussel for one night on our way to Italy. Conny gave us a very warm welcome and was a fabulous host throughout our stay. She kindly upgraded our room from which we had a lovely view of the lake (including from the bath!).The room was very comfortable. We had a first class dining experience - Gosia is an excellent chef! Breakfast was fabulous too with a lot to choose from and very fresh produce. It was a fabulous start to our trip thanks to the lovely hosts.

Wow! The views from this hotel are spectacular! The staff was so nice as I booked at the last minute. The hotel is dog friendly (15 euro extra charge) and you can even eat a very nice dinner with your well-behaved dog. Plenty of hot water and pressure. Great amenities inside the room.

Comfortable room with decent amount of space. Very good restaurant, good breakfast. Free parking in front of the hotel. Location: directly on the lake. 10 minutes per foot or 3 with a car to a cable car on the mountain. Luzerne is 25 minutes to drive.
