The staff were incredible. I am very familiar with Schwarzsee as my ancestors were from here and I have spent many a summer holiday on the lake. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the sounds of cow bells and mountain silence, brought me "home". There is a sense of gemutlichkeit . Upon leaving the hotel the staff presented us with a gift of homemade honey. What a lovely touch!

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the rooms are very big and comfortable and the food is amazing.
