The staff were very friendly.
The staff were very friendly. The owners (Gaby and Andy) gave us hints for where to hike in winter and loaned us walking sticks. The view from our room was beautiful looking at the mountains and lake across the valley. We assume summer will be beautiful as well. The restaurant was also excellent with a good selection and service. Breakfast included with the room was also great. Altdorf was a nice little village and people were helpful. We plan to return with our children and their partners.

It’s impeccably clean and steps away from the gondola.
It’s impeccably clean and steps away from the gondola. The owners are wonderful. We ate right at the hotel. We got lost on the way there and we sent an email with our phone number and they called us to help us navigate right away. They are great with email and general communication. It’s very quiet and peaceful.

The double glazing did not deafen the traffic nor the bar in the street next door where people were sitting outside shouting and laughing loudly until between 2 - 3 in the morning. No private car park. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

After a big day of travel & adventure, this was a very welcome sight! The rooms in the new annex are very clean and modern, and quite spacious! Great breakfast, too!
