Our suite on the 4th floor had a great view over the lake and to the mountains in the distance. The suite consisted of a big room with a smaller one with a sofa and a nice and spacious bathroom. We liked the historic vibe of the place, the staff were very friendly, both at the reception and at the restaurant. The food we had for dinner was delicious.

Quiet, idyllic, mountainside area with beautiful views. Easily accessed by car from the north, and by a train ferrying cars from Brig in the south to Kandersteg. Lots of hiking, biking, and other mountainside options with easy access to Interlaken and the surrounding tourist spots.

Quiet little town with excellent links to neighbouring larger towns. Many farms in the neighbourhood have a wee fridge containing their own cheese or smoked sausage etc. Simply pay at their honesty box and enjoy the flavours of the local countryside….ready made picnics for our walks.MartinUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Beautiful village, the landscape is breathtaking. People are very nice; good service in all shops; The Graber bakery is one of a kind - simply delicious. Very calm atmosphere, relaxing and wreath a second visit!

The hosts were incredibly sweet and accomodating, the area was amazing and had mountains all around the hotel, very peaceful. We got a free panorama card with which we could travel around the lake by bus, and even my gluten allergy wasn't a problem for the brunch. The hotel has a lot of really fun activities close to it and there are a lot of cool places to hike basically next to it. Definitely visiting again, never had a more lovely stay anywhere else

The views from the bedroom were spectacular. Additionally they didn't charge for bringing our dog. The breakfast was phenomenal and in a very cozy and beautiful room, with another nice views.
