This is not your typical bnb. This is a fantastic experience you will for sure have fun memories from. Fun Glamping It’s a tipi tent out on a raft in the middle of a wide river all in the middle of nowhere. Totally alone in beautiful nature. To get to the raft you have a rowboat You row yourself for about 5 minutes. To get to the water you walk on foot for about 15 minutes through the woods. So everything you need to bring you cary yourself. We booked this last minute but Ralf was very friendly and helpful helping us to show where to meet him and walked us to the boat. After that we were on our own. We got life-wests, put our stuff in the boat and off we went rowing to our raft for the night. It was a beautiful evening in northern Sweden, meaning the sun never sets and it was a beautiful calm evening. The raft has everything you need. We were three adults and we fit comfortably inside the tent. Outside you have an outdoors toilet, a grill and a big drinking water thing. It also had a pullover rain cover. Inside comfortable mattresses to roll out, sleeping bags, sleeping bag sheets , pillows , blankets. A gas heater , mosquito repellent. Etc utensils. Fishing rod. We cooked our food some took a dip in the river ( very cold) and played cards, we loved every minute of our stay.

At the end of February 2023 on a trip to Finland we spent a night in Tentipi River Camp. For us old campers it was a dream. Also a small tent– sauna with Access to the river was an unforgettable experience.

We stayed in Sorsele due to the fact that Arvidsjaur 100kms away has limited accommodation and mainly used for people coming to test drive cars. It is a pretty little town with a few shops, 2 large supermarkets, hardware, coffee, fuel etc. Visited in the winter and there was an igloo on the lake constructed by Mercedes Benz who own a hotel there. Very pretty town in the winter.
