Well it is a Hotel mostly frequented by construction workers as it is situated in the middle of nowhere in an industrial region that is currently under construction. So there are many construction sites around. But the rooms are nice and clean and the beds are good and breakfast was included.
Most important for us was the location as it was just a 45 minutes drive to Stockholm or Eskilstuna and just a 30 minutes drive to Mariefred. And also Uppsala was just a 90 minutes drive away. We liked the Hotel and would recommend it for the location. We spent 7 nights here.

The reason you go to Södertälje - Tom Tits Experience - it is a must! There are really cool little experiments - starting from getting into a cabin of the Scania truck to running billiard ball across all the room, from Stormen (where you can feel the high.-speed winds) to riding bicycle up in the air - it is the time well spent having fun whilst being able to explain the basics of physics to your kids.
Even if you are visiting from Stockholm - it is well worth the day trip to Södertälje (you should be able to do it by train).
Otherwise - the city is pretty small and from the list of "10 things to do in Södertälje" - first 5 you can do it in 15 minutes and within 500m radius:)
Lovely and cozy little hotel in a beautiful location by the water. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was excellent. If you are tired of franchise hotels that all look and feel the same and want to stay in a hotel that feels like one of those hotels in Agatha Christie novels, then I really recommend booking your room at Torpa.
Beautiful hotel, a little pompous on the outside, but very stylish interior with fire, water and green plants. Room was small but with all necessities, well-stocked minibar. Beds were VERY comfortable - some of the best hotel beds I have experienced. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was traditional but excellent and tasty.
I like everything. Since the second we got here and we were told that we had been upgraded to a better root.
I was in contact by messages and asked them if we could have late check out. I was offered with the possibility to check out att 17!.
Breakfast was wonderful! The place and the quality of the food! Wonderful stayed!
the location was goos, in the center of the town and next to the railway station. the staff was really friendly and complied to our requests. the rooms where in a good state, and the breakfast was really good and in all the vibe inside the hotel was good.
Good experience staying in the ship right next to water. Nice views from the deck. . The sodertalje centrum station is within a walking distance of 10 mins and shopping streets are 500m away. Great location and good value for money.
The atmosphere. The location. The friendly people. The unexpected party night in Gästhamnen. The moonlit sky. The ships that pass in the night. Almost a surrealistic experience - I wish I could have stayed longer.
Location was Stunning ! Quiet and accessible. Extremely well connected to Scania HQ and all other plants of Scania in Sodertalje. It felt like a vacation the moment you stepped back from work in the evening !
The breakfast was OK but lacked soul so to say. Coffee could always be better but it's hard to find good coffee in a Swedish hotel, they don't seem to know how to serve good coffee.
Good 3 star hotel with very nice rooms, newly renovated and very clean.
Wifi excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Bonus that the reception is manned around the clock.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Only 3 minutes to hamn station with free parking. An easy commute to Stockholm City. Gym pool and sauna were nice. Very convenient location
For me was shock on the start that Hotel is without any staff (reception etc.). But on the end I was positive surprised that everything work like should be.
