Very cozy place with friendly staff. Perfect location.
I liked the location. The staff were friendly. The photos on booking.com suggested something that wasn't really there. I can't remember exactly what was said at the check in but the check out was interesting. The reception desk was closed. We left the keys in the room. It was easy enough but unexpected and relied on us guessing the process.
The hotel was good, no complaints but as I said, not what I expected given the photos. Other times when I have stayed in old hotels, there is an element of the old-world charm and facilities. This was lacking but there was nothing really wrong with the hotel itself, it was simply my expectation based on what I saw in booking.com.

The town was quite cultural, with its huge and historically significant castle, and outdoor museum of wooden buildings - but the indoor museum is currently undergoing a year long refurbishment and so inaccessible. The town is also quite pretty, particularly along the river. For shoppers there is a good selection of stores, as well as cafes and restaurants. Like all of Sweden it will be found expensive by non Scandinavians. We arrived by rail, which is a good way to travel, though the station is a little way from the town centre.

Örebro is a charming little town that could easily be done in a day. There are at most three attractions to really see in the city. Nevertheless, if you want to get away from Stockholm or Uppsala, it is perfect. You will enjoy walking around the city and its parks.

Örebro is a very beautiful, nice and cosy city.
Örebro is a very beautiful, nice and cosy city. Just enjoyed walking for hours in it's streets and explore! There are a lot of attractions - impressive castle with great history and ducks enjoying tourists company, stunning gothic cathedral Olaus Petri kyrka with it's old graveyard, green Stadsparken (by Svarton river) full of flowers and lovely places to relax, Wadkoping Open Air Museum with it's atmospere of old days, lovely butics with souvenirs and coffe shops, famous water tower Svampen looks like a giant white mushroom, and just nice city streets with friendly people... whole lotta things to photograph!
Many local buses - around the city and the surrounding area - which are convenient to move around. Hemkop on Fredsgatan is good place to buy food; in Pressbyrån one can buy not only food and magazines, but bus tickets as well.
Absolutely great city to spend a week and relax! Got the best experiences and strong intention to come back next year!
For the price this place was what I needed: a dry bed on a cross country drive. Part of why I selected this place was that I could check in late, which was a plus. Some reviews mentioned a similarity to the Overlook Hotel from Stephen King's The Shining and I can see the similarity, but with the right attitude staying here will have made for a good story and an interesting memory. The staff were polite.
We stayed in a four bed room which was very spacious. I really liked the decoration and modern style. Nice breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Short walk to the city center. Hotel bar had some local craft beer but it closed at 7pm. However, we took bottles in our room where there was a small fridge to keep it cold for later use.
Excellent location, friendly and relaxed staff and good breakfast.
The hotel is located in central Örebro which is very convenient when you want to see the city or take a bus somewhere outside. The rooms are nice and clean and are as expected. We had dinner included which is comfortable as we spent the whole day in Gustavsvik waterpark.
Since there is nothing particularly positive to say about the stay, other than the roof over my head and an average bed, I will only add here that I broke off my stay and stayed at Elite Stora, just a few hundred meters away, with a view of Örebro castle, a small spa, and without the stench for the same price.
The hotel had a very central location, exactly near the train station - it was however surprisingly quiet, so no problem with it being so close to the trains. The beds was very comfy, the room was warm and clean and the breakfast was good: it offered variety and took care not to encourage wastefulness.
Fairly new hotel close to town and the station. Very nice breakfast and nice and quiet. There is aparking outside which by Swedish standards is quite cheap at 110 SEK per day. There is another car park on the other side of the rail tracks at 50 SEK per day but that didnt look as safe.
The Morris Hotel was the perfect place to stay in Örebro for 3 nights ! It is a really cozy small hotel with an adorable staff that will do everything to make your stay more than perfect :) The location is great, close to the city center and the central station !
fantastic location at the water, the fort and beautiful, old buildings. The hotel has two meals plus tea time in the afternoon. excellent food, great breakfast, home baked breads.
Everything in the room was in high quality, bed, shower.
Would love to come back.
Small hotel very close to the city centre. On a quite big and noisy road but from the room noise was absent. Hotel staff always helpful and friendly.
Sauna availble at almost any time.
Breakfast was plentiful and variegated (sweet and salty),
I had paid in advance for room but when I got there I expected there to be a bar and restaurant as advertised in hotel description but they were closed and only open for breakfast. I left and stayed at Elite hotel instead
Best beds in this price class in Örebro! we have tried three hotels in this price class and Göte definitely has the best ones. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our favorite hotel in Örebro.
It was nice and quiet area, good distance from city of Örebro.
The building was old that you can feel old Swedish culture.
Owner has friendly horses and cat who welcomes you.
Susanne was very helpful and hospitable, breakfast was great, especially the coffee. Very interesting historical building, as it turns out it also used to be a hotel before.
Big hotel. Spacious room. Free parking space. Ok breakfast. Big bed, but dirty, dusty linens. We arrived late in the evening, so we just brushed it off.
