Nykoping is a perfect place for a weekend getaway.
Nykoping is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. If you spend there more than a week, you feel like there is nothing more to do in the city. Nykoping is a nice place, but a weekend is just enough :)

Small but nice city you can take great pictures of old castle and park on water side. Uber is available but no cars were available so bus 515 related to skavsta airoport is very good. The 515 bus station is 5 minutes walk from nykoping city center and Road by bus nykoping - skavsta airoport it takes 10 minutes and buses are departing hourly. So is worth visiting the city center of nykoping if you have time

We’re only there for about 24h and we struggled to find anything to do. Definitely a pit stop area. No exciting restaurants, no exciting shops or museums, just nothingness. I can’t imagine why people would live here unless they’re as interesting as a piece of cucumber. Highlight was eating at KFC, which says it all really.

Pretty and relaxed town - not much exciting stuff to do, but perfect for a weekend get-away and for outdoor walking activities. Also if you have a car, there are things around to visit such as historical sites, natural reserves etc. Also people are outgoing and friendly.
The harbour is nice to see, and the russian hill.

The area along the river is lovely for either a walk or sitting outside at one of the restaurants having a meal. The town is clean and beautiful in June and it's easily walkable. There are lots of playgrounds for kids and open spaces for dogs.
Kompaniet is tne new hotel solution in my mind. A hotel solution including meals and good service in the hotel making it simple to avoid going out for supper at restaurants. Especially as it was raining.
Kompaniet was the most expensive hotel in Nyköping but deduction the value of fika and supper the price is good.
You had a young man removing dirty dishes from tables who was exceptionally helpful and nice
The hotel is really good, the lobby was very pretty in the evening, everything was exceptionally clean. I would really like to point out the staff, how nice and caring they were. We had a problem with the room, the bathroom door didn't close properly, so we asked the receptionist to change the room. She changed it and also thanked us for pointing out the problem, so they can fix it.
Nice localization, around quite neighborhood, 5 min walk from the main promenade and some restaurants.
Rooms spatial and very comfy with a nice bathroom. Parking space for free right next to the hotel.
Breakfast very good, with a lot of options to choose
And finally the reception team. Very helpful, always smiling. That was a very nice staying!!
The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is equipped with very good quality toiletries, the breakfast is plenty and with many choices, the staff is very polite and ready to help. The hotel offer the guests free entrance to the pool, to the sauna and to the gym. Also, on the level we stayed, there is a room for spending time, drink a coffee or work…
This hotel serves a great breakfast buffet. This hotel has more choices than most other hotels that I have stayed in Sweden.
It is one of the reasons I decided to stay there again. It is located in a quiet area outside of town just off the E4 highway.
Very friendly staff, good size rooms, It was quiet and nothing outside that disturbed your sleep even if the hotel is close to the highway and popular fast-food restaurants.
The hotel is close to the airport and Nykoping city (by car/ bus)
The hotel is very close (about 3 minute's walk) from the airport and has rather a flexible check-in/check-out time. The staff is ever so kind and helpful. I absolutely recommend it to anyone arriving at Skavsta Airport. :)
This was a lovely hotel, dog friendly with room on ground floor and easy access to good walking area for the dog. I wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.
centrally located, closed to the seaside. great value for this money.
very convenient if you need to take a flight from Skavsta airport, bus station is just 5-7 min away by walk

Excellent service, great facilities. It was such a nice and tranquil place to stay. Great staff, great location. We loved that it was a castle, very pompeus .
The hotel is beautiful, modern and cosy. The room and toilet were good enough. The parking was free, courtesy from the staff. Very close to the airport terminals.
