The town is a very quiet and low activity place on it's own that has all the things you need, but nothing too absorbent. Surrounding the town there is a lot of nature and lakes that are definitely worth visiting, having drive around and going off the beaten track has lead us to nice hiking trails, beautiful sights and a very quiet surrounding that allowed us to relax and be one with nature, while in town still having everything we needed on our travel through. It's considered the "most boring" town in Sweden, it is, but that has it's benefits.
Very good room for a family with 2 kids in the new section of the hotel.
Breakfast was very good and tasty with some local Swedish food, I think it was significant better than to be expected the price of the rooms taken into consideration.
There is a very good little playground (swings and bouncy castle) at the hotel, and the kids (5 and 3) have talked about it for several days afterwards...so dont miss it if you are traveling with small kids
Check in information is sent by SMS, but my phone was refusing to receive texts. Johan, the manager, kindly sent me the details I needed via the Booking.com app so I could check in. The room was comfortable and quiet, with free Wi-Fi and a TV. Breakfast was really tasty. There's a fika room where you can help yourself to coffee and sweets at no extra charge. Hotel Linnéa is amazing value for money, in my opinion.
This hotel is a true gem. Located on the third floor of one of the office building it is family run. It is lovingly furnished throughout the floor and common area. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and a modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The breakfast was incredible and left nothing to be desired.
I have seen hundreds of hotel rooms over the years, some better some worse.
This tiny place stands out of the mass! It is a real gem. You can feel the love and passion the owner puts in everwhere!
Bathrooms are shared but spotless and perfectly clean! The owner is very friendly and welcoming.
I had to spend the weekend in Ljungby with a friend. This hotel is perfectly situated in relation to the bus station. Communication was smoothly through e-mail and although we didn't see any staff, everything was perfect. We got a nice breakfast bag and coffee was available any time.
This is a great place for families, even if you do not care about horses. You are in the middle of nature but still 5 minutes from Ljungby, where you can eat out.
It's great for kids to play or brush the ponies. And you can meet friendly people in the shared kitchen.
The hotel is in good shape and great for a stopover or a longer stay. The shared bathrooms are clean and it does not disturb. In fact, in our room there was a small sink anyway. Breakfast was simple, but delicious. I would stay there again.
I enjoyed my stay at Stegemans Horse hotel. The host family was super friendly and easy to communicate with.
The accomodation and the facilities were clean, environment was calm and peaceful. I had such a great sleep there.
Nice, comfortable hotel to stay in Ljungby. Clean and tidy, great value for money, very kind and helpful staff. Don't bother looking around for restaurants, the embedded Harry's has all your culinary needs covered.
The breakfast was great -- maybe my favorite aspect of this hotel. Everything else was good. The rooms were clean, the facilities were good. Nothing was special or particularly excellent, but it was all good.
The hotel was perfectly located off the highway to Stockholm. It was clean, quiet, the rooms were big, great bunk beds for the kids, the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was amazing!
The villiage style of hotel's view was so pretty!
The rooms was verry cozy and clean! Very nice kitchen and dining room. The hosts was really friendly! I highly recommend this place!
