Many generations ago my ancestors immigrated to the US.
Many generations ago my ancestors immigrated to the US. My mother's dream was to be able to see where they came from and perhaps meet cousins. She died before she could do that but I came with my husband and daughter and we saw so much. Hotell Leksand was the perfect size.

In the room you'll find a refridgerator, comfortabel beds, also the bunk bed was comfortabel for an adult. Good wifi. Breakfast was included. You could choose from a whole range of tasty food. We had diner at the B&B which was also very tasty. The hosts were very friendly. We had absolutely a lovely stay. The hotel is the perfect starting point to visit Siljan Lake, Falun and Orsa Bear Park.

There was something very special about this hotel which I liked very much. The views towards Lake Siljan were lovely also. In addition, I liked the many black and white photos from the past, the comfortable and spacious lounge, the piano, and the coffee room with the selection of icecreams.

Just 5 minutes walk to get down to lakeside and there you can follow the walking trails to the nearby camping or go for longer hiking trip. Also it is just a couple of minutes walk to the nearby shops, cafe, hotel, all accomodated in old traditional buildings.

My sister and myfather enjoy the wunderfül breakfast an the lovely places to sit outside. We would really like to ome back.
