We had bicycles with us but were recommended to bring them into the hotel since it was not safe to leave them on the back of the car. Thankfully there was an elevator and our room was big enough that we could have them there and still have room for us. Plentiful continental breakfast. In the corridor there was also tea, coffee and you could even make a sandwich in the evening if you were feeling hungry. Easy walk to several restaurants since the hotel restaurant was not open except for breakfast. Quiet.

The room was filled with retro memorabilia, including jukebox, pinball machine, and a little, colourful bar. There was 50s Americana all over the place! Ingrid was extremely kind in arranging to collect me from the railway station because it was raining in Kil. Ingrid couldn’t have done enough for me, and I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Kil.

A friendly man from a gas station across the street helped us greatly by contacting the owner who came at 10:45 to let us in. We were planning to spend the night at the local train station and we very relieved and grateful to be able to spend the night at the hotel.MikeCanada
