Breakfast was a standard Scandinavian experience, with people coming and going to eat, but never too crowded or short on anything. The room was small, minimalistic but nice, all that I needed to have a good night's sleep.
This elegant hotel is set in a renovated, 1901-era building beside Gävle Central Station. The in-house restaurant provides views of the Gävle River.

This was our second stay and we were again not disappointed. The hotel has so much character and reflects the Grand hotel of times long past. The rooms are modern with comfy beds and marble bathrooms. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. This time, as it was Sunday, the restaurant was closed but the staff gave us a wonderful recommendation around the corner from the hotel and we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast, as we knew, left nothing to be desired.

This apartment exceeded our expectations! So spacious, nice and clean and had everythingone could wish for! Much better in reality than in the pictures. Especially enjoyed the bathroom with the jacuzzi! Located in the city center, 5 min walk from the central station. Very quiet area.
It's a nice place to visit for a day. You can always try and combine your visit there with a concert or something else. Transportation is okay but with weird timetables, you need to check them on advance. Great place to eat is the Blackstone Steakhouse, eating there made our day!

Nice typical small city of Sweden.
Nice typical small city of Sweden. Go here during the summer to sit down in one of the cafes/pubs for a beer or a latte.
Wintertime it is a bit more hostile so be prepared with warm cloth and a great apatite for looking at old buildings. Slow moving

Plenty of nice restaurants, shopping and the city is built for bike riding as is most of Sweden. There are plenty of places to rent bikes from if that is your thing and there are lots of are activities.
Breakfast was fine -- not great, but certainly acceptable. The staff are very friendly and caring. Our rooms had small refrigerators and microwave ovens. There is a shared kitchen and laundry room. We used the laundry facilities and very much appreciated having that resource available. Also there is a small garage attached to the hotel and we were able to park securely for a reasonable fee (be sure to reserve in advance). Self check-in was easy with the codes given to us, so we could arrive when we wanted. We were happy with our stay.
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the city - walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was very large, comfortable, and very well equipped - we had everything we needed. The extra facilities such as the pool were an added bonus. There is also underground parking at the hotel which we were able to reserve in advance, this meant there was none of the added stress of trying to find parking every day in a busy city. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Location first and foremost as we were there to attend the first Atlas Rock. It was our 1st trip to Sweden so it needed to be as easy as possible to get to where we needed to go and it was. Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We plan to stay there every year for Atlas Rock or any trip in that area.
Cozy and comfortable apartment not very far from central Gävle. Very well equipped, the building is an old magasin of the historic coffee industry nearby so it has some personality. Nice bathroom with jacuzzi. Nice for vacation or short stay. Easy to prepare breakfast with grocery store just around the corner.
A really nice welcome by the professional staff to this small and personal hotel. The location was really close to the centralstation and Musikhuset Gävle, which was our destination. Clean room, comfortable beds, an overall cosy feeling. You even had a night sandwich at arrival.
Very friendly staff, everything is new and clean, in the shower there is a shelf for cosmetics, there is everything you need to have in B&B. The hotel is located close to Gefle festival so it was a perfect location for me.
I liked the bed. The fridge was also a nice addition to the room. This hotel has windows that actually work and open. I can assure you that you'll be pleasantly surprised with the quality of the coathangers.
This is a very beautiful and cozy apartment in walking distance to the city center, concert hall etc. My host was very helpful and exeptionally kind to give me a later checkout. I had a wonderful stay here!
Fridge in the room. Writing desk. Good and sufficient light which is good for me working with paper and laptop computer. (Often hotel rooms are rather dark.) The breakfast buffet was good.
Cozy and warm place managed by a super friendly, kind and available owners. Fantastic location in the city center. Amazing breakfast with everything you desire.
