This was our second stay and we were again not disappointed. The hotel has so much character and reflects the Grand hotel of times long past. The rooms are modern with comfy beds and marble bathrooms. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. This time, as it was Sunday, the restaurant was closed but the staff gave us a wonderful recommendation around the corner from the hotel and we enjoyed it so much. The breakfast, as we knew, left nothing to be desired.

A really nice welcome by the professional staff to this small and personal hotel. The location was really close to the centralstation and Musikhuset Gävle, which was our destination. Clean room, comfortable beds, an overall cosy feeling. You even had a night sandwich at arrival.

Everything was perfect and hassle-free - from the check in, to advise on where to have dinner in town, to leaving in the morning. Our upstairs flat was roomy and comfortable, albeit a bit warm due to the amazing weather we are having.
