Borlange isn't the prettiest place in Sweden with something of 1960's East Germany aboiut the architecture - Falun up the road is a better choice if you are there for pleasure. That said there are plenty of restaurants and local amenities / shops.

It was an easy 20 mins to the Romme Alpin ski resort. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and the local mall. For our own comfort we brought bedding including blankets and pillows. The property provides duvets and pillows for free and sheets/linens for the beds at a cost.NicolUnited States of America

The gym is the best in the city in regards to hotel gyms. Nice spa area. I didn’t use the spa due to short stay but plan to return and use the spa.
