Kutchan is a lovely city with friendly locals and widespread English proficiency, making communication easy. There are plenty of options for renting or purchasing snowboard gear, which is convenient for enthusiasts. Overall, I will definitely return to Kutchan.

The ingredients and the cooking is first class. The staff is the most welcoming staff we ever met in Japan - and that is something. The open Bath is just great. The water is original onsen water. Relaxing in the rotemburo watching the clouds on Mount Yotei is paramount. The design of the room is a fantastic mixture of Japanese tradition and modern architecture. The room, the equipment, the furniture- all fantastic.

The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. The property is new and very well maintained. The room, much to our surprise was quite spacious for Japanese standards! Even Danny had a laugh with us about it! Convenience. Right next to a 7-Eleven. And also not far away from restaurants and supermarkets in Kutchan.

The decorations are superb in lodge-like way. The staff can speak English and some Thai (lol). All facilities are at its best. Also, AEON MaxValu (closed at23:00) and Lawson are just 1 min away by walking. And Yotei Mt. view from the hotel is superb!

He dropped us off at the trail head at 0500 so we could start the walk early. The whole place was very clean, and the communal kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. It was a short walk to the train station and shops. If you're in Kutchan stay here. You won't regret it.

This was a little bit of late reservation but easy check in, comfortable beds, it has everything you need! Location it is about 7-10 min walk from the station, not bad! Keep in mind it gets harder to walk and drag your luggage in the snow. Definitely would come back!

This is an unmanned hotel, instructions needs to be followed to ensure a smooth check-in. The staff can be contacted over the phone at the front desk and they use a translator.
