Very good breakfast location fine but to far from any ameanaties
An amazing small city located on a mountain. The city is separated into an older part and a more modern part which is located at the lowest part of the mountain. The city has a plethora of murals and street art and you can download a dedicated application where you can find where all the murals are located and have a self-tour. The old part of town has amazing buildings and you can get lost by walking in the small traditional streets. The restaurants are of high quality and all the food we tasted was simply amazing. I will definitely be coming back :)

Unfortunately when we were there for a 3 night stay the weather was poor on two of the days so I might say the stay was too long. Didn't visit the city at the base of the mountain. The village where the chalets are situated was very quiet with not much going on, we spent most of the spare time in the hotel which was nice.

The Pousada is perfect for a relaxing break.
The Pousada is perfect for a relaxing break. The views are incredible. The service is very good, made to feel welcome. You need to drive back down the mountain for restaurants etc but the Pousada has everything you want. The air is fresh and all you can hear are the birds, superb.

A great city to use as a base to visit nearby mountains and go hiking. Also, if it's the right season for cherries, head to the market and get some. This area is home to the famous Cerejas da Gardunha you see in every supermarket in Portugal :)

O’Serrano de Repleto de Magia was fantastic for dinner!!! Covilha otherwise is a lovely, slightly sleep city in the off season filled with very friendly talkative locals. Free parking at the city square until December 2020 so that was great!

Very friendly people.
Very friendly people.
Usually we used to eat at the mall, but since it was locked down (it reopened monday the 1st June) this time we tried the pizzeria just in front of the mall and it had nice pasta and pizza.
We had lunch too at Manteigas, and it was great.
Yes, it is easy to get around Covilhã.
We recently spent 3 nights at the Pena D'Agua while touring Portugal, and the stunning Serra Da Estrela national park which the hotel is located close to. The hotel’s tasteful decor and cleanliness, plus the friendliness of the staff impressed us. The rooms were impeccably maintained, and the overall ambiance was inviting. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for beautiful, clean, and good priced accommodation. Also, a special thank you to Carlota for going out of her way to help us when we had car issues.
Even better than described, tidy and comfortable, with lots light and plenty of moving space, and a beautiful mix of vintage and newer furniture that work perfectly together. The Wi-Fi was good enough to work and join Zoom meetings without issue, and the beauty of the location in the middle of the old town can’t be beaten. The lovely host is ready to help and respond to any queries. Amazing stay, I would recommend anyone heading to Covilhã to give them a try!
Spacious room with balcony and great view (mountains and the city). Comfortable bed and all the facilities room was offering. Closeby safe parking available. I wish could stay longer to use some of the hotel Gym and Spa facilieties, unfortunatelly stayed only one night. I liked the hotel vibe - active and eco friendly. Great value for money, would stay again!
Conditions are amazing, the place itself is beautiful, location is top-notch and surprisingly quiet, being right in the center of Covilhã. Staff themselves were very pleasant and polite. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it was always full, which means it must surely be great. Easiest 10 out of 10 I've ever rated someone or somewhere.
This is a nice hotel, located near Covilhã. It offers several amenities and has a rather pompous look, but it does not provide much more than that. This building is an old sanatorium. Although refurbished, the "energies" in the air are not so good.
Liked everything, we always stay at Puralã when in Covilhã, such an excellent hotel, convenient for the City but not too close .
Excellent indoor pool for the cooler months, very nice outdoor pool for the long Portuguese summers 🥰
The apartment is very good with a lot of space and everything was very clean. The building is new and in a great location, with a lot of parking around. I would definitely recommend this place if you are going to Covilhã.
I liked it was clean and in good location. There was a balcony and good bed. The ceiling was rather high, so the room was spacious. Design of villa is good and people are nice.
Perched high up in this beautiful old town in central Portugal this boutique hotel has stunning interiors and gorgeous views. Very comfortable rooms and the bistro is superb!
Really lovely comfortable hotel staff are just so helpful. Breakfast was great and also buffet dinner. Excellent spa and pool area. Would highly recommend
Modern hotel with pretty standard services. Good room , good but hard bedgood pillow. Great bathroom. Good elevator. Easy access by car. Good breakfast.
