Beautiful location for people who enjoy being outdoors.
Beautiful location for people who enjoy being outdoors. A great sport for road-biking, bird watching, hiking. The nearby towns are accessible by bike and are very charming. We also enjoyed picking our own oysters. The long walks on the beach and rides on the dune are breathtaking. City center is very small but known shops are nearby the church (AH&Hema). We visited two of the beaches and one in special was a place for windsurfing, so wind was super strong (not so nice if you have small kids). Nature is everywhere.

The hotel was very good quality, spacious room well equipped, the bar and restaurant were both excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism is that the hotel is approx 1 mile from the center of Ouddorp.

We had a cold weekend for May standards (10-15 degrees celsius) with quite some wind and occasional showers. Despite the weather, we had a great time. The beach is nearby and walking distance with kids in the range 2 to 7 years old. The playground was the kids' favorite, especially the air trampoline.AAnonymousNetherlands

With two nice gardens in the front and in the back of the house with plenty of space to sit or play outside. Our little daughter loved the swing and the handcart.
