Beautiful location for people who enjoy being outdoors.
Beautiful location for people who enjoy being outdoors. A great sport for road-biking, bird watching, hiking. The nearby towns are accessible by bike and are very charming. We also enjoyed picking our own oysters. The long walks on the beach and rides on the dune are breathtaking. City center is very small but known shops are nearby the church (AH&Hema). We visited two of the beaches and one in special was a place for windsurfing, so wind was super strong (not so nice if you have small kids). Nature is everywhere.

The hotel was very good quality, spacious room well equipped, the bar and restaurant were both excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only minor criticism is that the hotel is approx 1 mile from the center of Ouddorp.

Breakfast has anything you need for a good start: Toast, raisin bread, hagelslag, eggs. Ouddorp is a small village and you can reach everything by bike. Bike rental and supermarkets are within in a 1-5minute walk from the pension. You can reach the beach and dunes by bike within 6-8mins. I would not recommend walking per foot, the streets are often narrow, without sidewalks and the traffic is pretty high and fast there.

With two nice gardens in the front and in the back of the house with plenty of space to sit or play outside. Our little daughter loved the swing and the handcart. Ouddorp is a charming village and the beaches have large free parking facilities. We would love to come back.

They had a secure shed where we could park our bikes. Although there was a shared toilet and shower, those facilities were nice, clean and new. It is also quite near some great restaurants in the village.BobUnited States of America

The excellent breakfast was included in the price, fantastic place to stay. The area around had plenty of places to eat out and view. I would have stayed longer, but they were fully booked and I can easily understand why. Highly recommended.

We parked our bikes outside next to their army of e-bikes. Breakfast had bacon and scrambled eggs which felt like a luxury after all the european cold cuts and hard boiled eggs we’ve had at every other european hotel.

The room was small but comfortable and both dinner and breakfast were superb. The staff was pleasant and professional.
