There are very good restaurants and pubs in Breda, friendly people everywhere. Nothing and nobody disturbs you ever! We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Compared to Amsterdam f.e. it lacks all the tourist attraction, so no canals or coffee shops. a bit plain, typical dutch.

Nice pups and restaurants. Easy shopping, good quality shops. Rent a hotel in the centre or rent a car. No trams in the city, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hotels in the city can be expensive, just because they are in the city. But not necessarily good.

It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment. I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Which is totally enough. The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is by far the cheapest option in Breda. The bed was really comfortable, I liked it a lot. In the next door hotel you can buy some basic refreshments (food and drink) even at night, which was also very convenient. The location is okay, also reachable by public transport, in the evening and on weekends you have to walk to a bit further stop, but no problem.TitanillaSlovakia

The room was very spacious and clean with nice decor. The bathroom even has his and hers sinks and shower heads! The heaters work very well and the room was kept nice and warm. The breakfast was delicious and high quality. All is all a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Breda, both for work or for leisure, and we hope to visit again!

For dogs the environment is more than ok, they could run on the property together with the owners dogs (even a basin to swim is there). The house is easy to approach (not far away from a highway but still quiet) and a bit outside of town. A Chinese restaurant by the way is in walking distance.SigridAustria
