Breda is a peaceful, wonderful place where you can relax, take long walks in the nature, along the river, in the woods, on the fields. There are very good restaurants and pubs in Breda, friendly people everywhere. Nothing and nobody disturbs you ever! It is the right place to rethink your entire life and put everything in a new light! I strongly recommend Breda as a starting point for those who want to know Netherlands!

We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. Compared to Amsterdam f.e. it lacks all the tourist attraction, so no canals or coffee shops. a bit plain, typical dutch.

Nice pups and restaurants.
Nice pups and restaurants. Easy shopping, good quality shops.
Rent a hotel in the centre or rent a car. No trams in the city, like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Hotels in the city can be expensive, just because they are in the city. But not necessarily good.

It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment.
I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Also the Natural park De Biesbosch is 30km from Breda.

A well located attractive town with good access to major routes and a fabulous train station with regular connections to other towns such as Rotterdam and Utrecht. Breda has a great range of upmarket chain stores and independent shops.
The hotel was very well located on the edge of the city centre, in an historic converted military barracks. The room was brilliant with a comfortable bed and all the facilities you would need. Parking was excellent and the breakfast was good. The most unusual aspect of the hotel is that it is a hospitality school, with the students working in the hotel significantly outnumbering the small number of guests, all very keen to help and learn, we really enjoyed our stay and it was amazing value too!
Very cute hotel in the center of Breda. Nice café / resturant / pub down stairs. Rooms where nice with big windows looking out over the plaza and town. Good bathroom with a nice shower. Friendly and helpfull staff. Free welcome drink. In the center of town so you can just stroll out the door and walk everywhere. The hotel doesn't have parking but there is a public open-air car park quite close and the prices for all day / over night parking are reasonable.
A very nice and clean hotel with all the facilities you could desire. A great pool with sauna and steam room, a gym and a large dinning room and bar mean the hotel is a great stay for any visit to Breda or the surrounding area.
The staff were very friendly and quick to help replace a faulty part with the bath within our room to ensure we were able to enjoy all of the facilities. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
The breakfast is delicious, especially the granola which is a very healthy breakfast recipe. The room is nice and cozy and gives me some wellness and health vibes to it. The bed is very comfortable and I managed to sleep in it very well. The hotel itself is in a very convenient walkable area which is suitable for me.
Only stayed for one night to attend a Go_A gig at 'Mezz', which was about 60 seconds walk away, wish I'd had more time to enjoy both the hotel and Breda, would definitely return for a longer visit.
Hotel was fantastic, immaculate, brilliant friendly staff, and my room was absolutely first class !
It was an awesome and wonderful place to be and friendly staff with great service. Actually they didn't knew I was one the top sport athlete and the owner for www.skybornetravel.com

This is a wonderful terraced upstairs apartment in Breda's Centrum district. It has space to sleep 6, a nice kitchen, and a spacious terrace. Secure parking was available for 10 Euros/night. The host bought and brought us fans the day after an unseasonably hot day.
Location was worse than I expected... If I saw the maps carefully I would have chosen a different hotel.
Room was very clean, bed and pillows very comfortable.
The hotel looks quite new, which is not common in Brussels.
Breakfast was 0k
We have stayed here before and we will stay here again! Lovely hotel in the city center of Breda. The comfortable rooms in the beautifully restored "asylum of love" assured a perfect night rest during our stay in Breda.
Nice hotel. My room was small, but comfortable. Very nice restaurant and bar. Hotel is located right beside a large park, about 2km from the city centre. I recommend bringing your bike!
The hotel is perfectly located with all the facilities you need to enjoy a city trip in Breda. The hotel is neat, nicely designed with great food and exceptional staff.
Original hotel, beautifully decorated. Many beautiful pictures and great details. Lovely bar.Staff was nice and welcoming. Very well situated in the middle of Breda.
Away from the city center, quiet hotel with big open parking. The room was big enough for two people, bathroom requires renovation. Room was not perfectly clean.
