The property is on the outskirts of Wenns, which is a small village not far up the Pitztal. There is a supermarket about 20 minutes' walk from the property, so maybe 1.5km, through the village. It is right next to a bus stop, bearing its name, so handy for stopping off on the way back from the day's activities. Other than that our focus was on the mountains and numerous hiking trails, so didn't really explore Wenns, or sample it restaurants, as we tended to eat at one of the mountain refuges.
The location - the house is situated at the end of a road high up above the village Wenns with breathtaking views on the surrounding mountains. The flat is on the ground floor, with a separate entrance and very nice terrace. The hostess was very nice and welcoming, we got a bottle of local wine and a small sample of local delicacy, a pine-jelly, as a welcome present. The kitchen was well equipped with all necessary items, even including an egg boiler:) We enjoyed our stay enormously, especially the quiet times with coffee on the terrace.
The host, Barbara, was very friendly, helpful and flexible. When we needed extra towels we just had to let her know and we got new ones. She also helped us with some practical stuff, like finding a ATM. The house is very clean and it has everything you need. Also the garden is very nice. The location of Regensburgerhaus is wonderfull. You can go in many directions like futher into Pitztal but also the kaunertal and Imst are close by. We liked our stay so much dat we stayed an couple days longer.
Perfect location to explore the beautiful Pitztal in winter, spring and summer time! Near the Hochzeiger ski and hiking area, so very convenient to reach by car or bus (nearby bus stop).
The appartement is fully equipped, comfortable and clean. It has a lovely outside sitting area with a magnificent view!
Above all, the host Charlotte and her family are very friendly. We had a warm welcome and good tips and tricks for activities in the neighbourhood.
We will come back :-)
The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food for us okay but not exceptional. The other side of the hotel complex would have been a better match for us. The pools were nice. This is a great place for families with children but for couples looking to get away for a quiet and relaxing week, I would recommend somewhere else. The view from the balcony was very nice and the room met all our needs.
The host, Christina, was an absolutely delightful woman. She was so welcoming, kind and had an amazing attention to detail at her hotel. My partner has several dietary restrictions and Christina made it a priority that there were several breakfast items available. The room was clean, comfortable and the gardens beautiful. We highly recommend staying at the Landhaus Gasser and would stay again!
We had a great stay at Auszeit. Very nice, spacious, well organized apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The seating area in the attic is great. Everything is designed for the optimal comfort of the guests. The view over the Pitztal and Pillertal valleys is lovely. The hosts were very friendly, open and helpful. Thank you! We will gladly return to you.
Fantastic large and comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a relaxed skiing holiday. Parking was directly outside the door which was very convenient with shops and a few restaurants nearby.
The apartment was within 45 minute drive of Hochoetz, Hochzeiger, Rifflsee and Pitztaler Gletcher!
Great place, easy to access. The view from the apartment is superb and the place itself is really nice for up to 4 or 5 people.
The host is really nice. The proximity to large ski resort is also a bonus: Pitztal, Serfaus or even Sölden.
We will consider booking again without hesitation.
The apartment is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable. The hosts are warm, welcomed us with a homemade cake. We also got "Pitztal Sommer Card" that gave us free rides in the mountains funicular in Pitztal area.
Location is great.
In Pitztal / Kaunertal you may find many lovely hiking trails and beautiful mountains.
Tobadillerhof is exactly in between the 2 valleys.
The family offers fresh milk, butter and milk from the farm. Great !!
Half-board breakfast buffet and 5-course dinner were beyond our expectations. Delicious and good selection.
Hotel and restaurant staff were helpful and attentive.
Rooms were spacious and spotless, with a good Austrian feel.
Breakfast is fabulous and staff is very eager to please. The hotel is not directly on the main road but on a parallel road higher up, so less traffic. Rooms were a bit dated but super clean, spacious and comfy.
