The property is on the outskirts of Wenns, which is a small village not far up the Pitztal. There is a supermarket about 20 minutes' walk from the property, so maybe 1.5km, through the village. It is right next to a bus stop, bearing its name, so handy for stopping off on the way back from the day's activities. Other than that our focus was on the mountains and numerous hiking trails, so didn't really explore Wenns, or sample it restaurants, as we tended to eat at one of the mountain refuges.

The flat is on the ground floor, with a separate entrance and very nice terrace. The hostess was very nice and welcoming, we got a bottle of local wine and a small sample of local delicacy, a pine-jelly, as a welcome present. The kitchen was well equipped with all necessary items, even including an egg boiler:) We enjoyed our stay enormously, especially the quiet times with coffee on the terrace.HelenaCzech Republic

The pools were nice. This is a great place for families with children but for couples looking to get away for a quiet and relaxing week, I would recommend somewhere else. Also the ski bus stop was right in front of the hotel. Staff were nice, friendly and willing to help even if you doesn't speak German or English. Room nicely prepared and cleaned before my arrival.
