We only stayed one night after finishing stage four (Wenns - Vent) of our E5 hike. The room was spacious and the bathroom with shower very good. We especially enjoyed the sauna. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and the quality was good. The staff is very friendly, service oriented and gave us top tips for our final stage of our E5 hike.

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff, the actual family who runs this fine establishment. We felt as though we were being welcomed into their home - a wonderful treat after a long day of driving alpine roads! We elected to have both the dinner and breakfast options and were not disappointed! Dinner was consistently presented every night as a high quality five-course gourmet delight. Breakfast was a plethora of buffet items and eggs cooked the way we liked them. Our suite was fantastic - generously sized and appointed. The hotel boasts a fantastic sauna, steam room and wellness area. The hotel location was the best in the village, literally at the trailheads! If you do not stay here while in Vent, you are really missing out on not just a stay in the Ötzal Alps, but a true Tyrolean experience.

Great hospitality in the middle of the Alps. The room was cozy and clean. Everything we needed was there. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is also a free parking area. We stayed overnight while we were skiing in Soelden, it is a 15-20 minute drive from the main slopes.

Vent is a small village all the way in the back of the Otztall. It is amazing for mountain hiking. There isnt much in the village, but it is quiet and the surrounding is amazing. Do you want to go on hiking trips with active sporty kids its perfect. Are you and adult that wants challenging and big hikes, its perfect. Are you a beginning hiker, its perfect! Basically Vent has it all for mountain hiking.

Great location for family skiing vacation with small kids.
Great location for family skiing vacation with small kids. There are small T-bar lifts with easy pistes for learning, winter playground for kids, tobogganing run, and for parents, decent runs from the mountain top where you can get by chair lifts right from the village.
Also plenty of walking paths around.
The village itself has a number of good restaurants and a bar for apres-ski. It's all there, while it's not crowded and loud like the nearby big resort Solden.

This is a really great area for everyone who would like to find peace, calm and fresh environment for relax. Vent is like wonderland in my eyes, houses are nice and this is so close to the nature. There are sport and moving opportunity at summer or winter time a well.
For our 4 day hiking trip, the House Granbichler was a great choice. Apartment was comfortable, well equipped, very clean and cosy. Parking was easy and directly in front of the house. Our host Anna was very kind, always ready to help with anything we needed :). Vent offered everything we needed for our stay - small sport shop with grocery, few nice restaurants and cafes. Despite of the bad weather, we enjoyed our stay for 100%. We will be happy to come back again to Vent & House Granbichler.
Breakfast was lovely, the rooms were lovely, dinner was lovely, the spa and sauna village were exceptional. The team who work at the hotel are amazing human beings and nothing is too much trouble. I have never tipped so much in my life and it was a pleasure to do so. The social lounge space was very welcoming and many hours were spent playing chess in front of the log fire before dinner. We enjoyed every second of our time at Post.
Great location. I immediately fell in love with Vent. It's a great location to start many hiking tours. Our stay at Sonnhof apartments was simply perfect. The apartment was nice and clean next to a water stream, which is a nice sound to have in the background.
Breakfast is arranged on-a-need basis at a very good restaurant across the street. We even had lunch and dinner there.
Would absolutely stay there again!
The hotel is run by a family which will make you feel at home without making you feel you are in their space. The hotel is a beautiful typical Austrian hotel with amazing views of the mountains surrounding it. The hotel is right at the start of basically every mountain trail from Vent. The breakfast is great, the service is great, the rooms are spacious and the dinner is as always in Austria great as well!
Very friendly welcoming staff that patiently helped out with practicing our German, even though they were perfectly comfortable with English. We booked last minute, but were welcomed with open arms and we even got a free room upgrade with a bath that we gratefully made use of! They also helped out with hiking tours and directions in Vent, so overall a perfect experience.

The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning. Located at the end of the valley and surrounded by the mountains. The views are spectacular and so is the hotel itself. Modern without losing any authenticity, impeccably clean and great food. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Very nice apartment in Vent with great location nearby cableway and cool view on mountains. Apartment was clean with all equipment what you need. Perfect central point for all tours. Personal was really nice and comminucated all with us so dont hesitate to ask for all :)
Great location in Vent. Super friendly people workimg there. The interior is fine, from another century, but very clean. The food with local speacilities was great and the service super fast. The check-in and everything around that went quick and without any obstacles.
Vent is a cosy very small village at approx 2000 m a s. Very friendly atmosphere, dinner excellent and also for breakfast.
Good room size and slept like a baby (though I did never wake up and cry like one... ). The sauna was also good.
All in all, a very good stay.
Cozy apartment in walking (or skiing) distance to Vent skiing area and direct bus connection to Sölden and Gurgl - perfect strategical location. Our host was very kind, helping us out with some missing ingredients and even jump-starting our car :)
Very nice pensionat with excellent breakfast and friendly host. Good value for money. Located in the middle of Vent with skibuss, skiing and restaurants nearby.
