Breakfast was great. Location was far enough from Soelden to not be as expensive but close enough for a bearable bus trip. Rooms were perfect. Great to see it was kid friendly.

The experience at Knorr's was beautiful. First of all, the location is perfect for a day trip because right from this special house you can immediately go on many trips in the area.
In terms of the view and the location, this is probably one of the best locations in the valley. The house itself is special, full of atmosphere and extremely clean.
Barbara and Kristian are lovely hosts who do it wholeheartedly. Barbara is a passionate cook who sometimes also prepares delicious cakes or cooking in a local style.
All the hosts in the world should be like them! :) including the yoga classes that can be experienced there, because Barbara is a very experienced yoga teacher and attentive to the abilities of the participants. A yoga class with her won't leave you broke if you don't ask especially. We really hope to see you again in the future

Umhausen was the perfect location in Oetztal Valley for us since we were using public transport. It is in the middle of the valley so getting to any location was pretty quick. It is also a bit quieter but with plenty of things to do right there.

Nice village with really narrow roads, not easy driving with car. Two markets (Spar, Hofer), bakery, problem was to find open restaurant for lunch, pizzeria closed two days during week, some hotel restaurant not possible to use. Petrol station there as well. Nice people greeting when meet :-). Cca 20 minutes to Solden ski area by car.

Umhausen is a great location if you want to go skiing in Solden and save money on the accommodation. There are a few restaurants that serve traditional Austrian food, but there are not many options beyond that. The food is great though especially if you are a meat-eater, and there are plenty options for vegetarians.AlexandruRomania

The appartment is spacious, clean and very well equiped. It is calm, just next to a forest and there is nice view of the valley. There are several hiking trails nearby and the town is by walking distance. Most importantly, Hanni (the host) was super nice and very helpful despite the langage barrier. We felt as if we were at home. We highly recommand Haus Domenig and will definitely go back there on our next trip to Austria.

The hotel has also a cosy lounge and SPA, which make it a great place to relax after a long day of skiing. Another good characteristic to mention is the breakfast. They offer all you need to fuel up for the day. You can even cook your own eggs. Explorer is totally worth it!
