A small, quiet town (or big village!) but excellently located for many kms of walking and cycling routes (and cross-country skiing in Winter - I was there in late May, but would like to return in winter), covering easy to hard options; Also close to two lovely lakes (the Vilsalpsee and the Haldensee)

Tannheim is a little cozy town in the Tannheimer Tal. It has amazing starter points for different kind of routes. The mountains are just breathtaking and the nature is impressive. For vegans we have to say that we found a coffee house with vegan coffee options and a restaurant with helpful stuff to help us to find something to eat (gegrilltes Gemüse)Janine NataliaSweden

The suite was spotless and fully equipped with everything that was needed, included a balcony, and had plenty of space. The owners, Sonja and Tomas looked after us really well, and the wine bar didn't disappoint either. Complimentary access to a wellness area with sauna, steam bath and more, as well as to cable cars in the surrounding areas.

It was a big surprise for one of us who never experienced Austrian cuisine. The other excellent surprise was the spa which offers different options in a very stylish way. Rooms are very comfortable, sound-proof with a large modern bathroom. Everything is super clean.

The center of Tannheim is also just 500 meters by foot. I also liked the temperature in the apartment. While it was hot outside, the apartment stayed cool - I was in the ground floor and also had a nice terrace. The apartment is also well equipped with everything you need to cook for one person.
