In and around Stumm there is something for everyone from Castles to Lakes and nature walks to biking and more. Only negative is that almost everywhere you go you need to pay to park your car. This is definitely an Austrian thing.

Some excellent restaurants and a lovely outdoor pool.
Some excellent restaurants and a lovely outdoor pool. The pool had slides, pools for little ones and a lake with a diving board. Great location halfway down the valley for making the most of Zillertal. Fresh bread every morning from the bakery! Good for families and less commercial than Mayrhofen. Has a little supermarket too to stock up on supplies. We enjoyed taking the bikes up the Penkabahn and mountain scooters at Fugen. All of the cable cars have water parks or play areas. There is so much to do with kids.

We used car to get to the lifts but ski bus station is pretty close too. Sauna after hard skiing day was amazing. The place is pet-friendly, and has an elevator. It's ideal for car owners as it has huge parking area and is pretty close to the main road: it's 3 min drive to nearest lift, 10 to Zillertal Arena and 20 to Mayerhofen.

Diner Portions seems small, but with the salad buffet and dessert proofed to be more then enough. I also liked the free snack from 15:00, small gesture, but a nice bite for just after the ski-day. Staff is friendly and relaxed, trying to make contact, remembering your drinks from previous day. Small things... but feels nice. Good WiFi also!

The description of the property is very accurate - we got exactly the apartment we booked with a personal sauna. The bakery is just across the street and offers delicious freshly baked good. Stumm is a very nice place to stay - quiet, beautiful and close to the lifts and the Erlebnistherme Zillertal.

Large comfy flat, with 3 rooms inside and a fourth room just outside the door. Very clean, towels prepared for everyone. Super hot showers after skiing and a big space for eating with a view. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee was already there. Beds also very comfy, we all slept like babies. Host is very nice also.

A lot of ski options. Kind hosts, comfortable and clean appartment. Parking in front of the house. Really enjoyed it, would reccomend it gladly.
