Very modern apartment with a great location.
Bed is very interesting to play with (as well as the bathroom lights 😁) and very comfortable to sleep in.
Appartment is also very close to the bus station. We would definately come back again!

It is a really nice little lake town, well located to nice hikes and great restaurant options. Cleanest alpine lake I have seen and such lovely small town vibe. we loved it even more that Halstatt, St Wolfgang, Kaprun and Zell am see!

Strobl is perfect, everything you need is there -- shops, restaurants, bakery, tobacco shop, post, banks, gas station,... Very good starting point, we went both sides of the lake by bikes, used the ferry, as well as the beach there.IvoCzech Republic - 10Scored 10
Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but...
Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but offers good spots for swimming, including beaches. Also nice, but rather short promenade along the shore. Do not expect many live pubs or bars, but the number of restaurants is sufficient. Other towns (St. Wolfgang etc.) are easily accesible by public trasnsport.

The lake is wonderful.
The lake is wonderful. One can stroll or take a boat trip or just enjoy a cup of coffee and a apple cake in one of the many coffee shops on the lake shore . You can visit the villages along the lake or take bike trips.

Could only get 3 days at another hotel not as well situated...
Could only get 3 days at another hotel not as well situated for the beginning of my trip. Moved to Brandauer the last day of my trip. So glad I did as it was really nice, especially the beach/spa areas. And breakfast on terrace. Will definitely use it my next trip. And the reception staff were really nice and accommodating of my requests.

It was a very short distance everywhere, just 5 minutes to the lake, one shop something like 3 minutes, same with bakery etc. We much appreciated the elevator in the apartment (we have 3 kids, one is baby). Garden perfect, rabbits, table tenis, trampoline etc. Host was nice, we arrived, called and in minute she was there, introduce the place to us etc., fluent English.IvoCzech Republic

Strobl is great for a more quite vacation while you have everything you need and an easy access to Wolfgangsee and other attractions and it not too crowded by tourists.
