Our room had a very comfortable bed, a mosquito net in the door to the balcony and was cleaned every day! There is an on-site parking space included in the price, as well as a very good breakfast. It is located in a very quiet location near Lake Wolfgangsee. The location is good for getting around with car.

It is a really nice little lake town, well located to nice hikes and great restaurant options. Cleanest alpine lake I have seen and such lovely small town vibe. we loved it even more that Halstatt, St Wolfgang, Kaprun and Zell am see!

Strobl is perfect, everything you need is there -- shops, restaurants, bakery, tobacco shop, post, banks, gas station,... Very good starting point, we went both sides of the lake by bikes, used the ferry, as well as the beach there.IvoCzech Republic - 10Scored 10
Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but...
Not as crowded as other cities around Wolfgangsee, but offers good spots for swimming, including beaches. Also nice, but rather short promenade along the shore. Do not expect many live pubs or bars, but the number of restaurants is sufficient. Other towns (St. Wolfgang etc.) are easily accesible by public trasnsport.

The lake is wonderful.
The lake is wonderful. One can stroll or take a boat trip or just enjoy a cup of coffee and a apple cake in one of the many coffee shops on the lake shore . You can visit the villages along the lake or take bike trips.

Could only get 3 days at another hotel not as well situated...
Could only get 3 days at another hotel not as well situated for the beginning of my trip. Moved to Brandauer the last day of my trip. So glad I did as it was really nice, especially the beach/spa areas. And breakfast on terrace. Will definitely use it my next trip. And the reception staff were really nice and accommodating of my requests.

Not far from a lovely little town Strobl which is located at the lake Wolfgangsee. There you can easily find what to do and where to go. Not large, but a variety of restaurants there with the local food. You can either walk there or take a bus. Walking will take about 25-30 minutes. Hosts are very nice and kind. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and resolved quickly.AndreySpain

Strobl is great for a more quite vacation while you have everything you need and an easy access to Wolfgangsee and other attractions and it not too crowded by tourists.
