Very cozy, comfortable space with mostly everything you need (would've liked a microwave). Quiet location, close drive to town. The bed was a little firm for my liking, but the pillows were the most comfortable we've had on our 2 week road trip around Austria (they weren't super flat!)

Convenient located, very responsive management. I found the bed comfortable but I enjoy a firmer mattress.
Easy parking especially in comparison to other locations on the street. My friends were in a hotel up the street and I ended up keeping the car with me since it was easier.
Pretty standard European rental otherwise, limited towels and blankets, etc. but I didn’t mind since it was just me. It didn’t have the charm the other locations had but it was cheap, available, and I didn’t feel like was settling.

The village itself is small compared to surrounding resorts such as Soll. It is peaceful and quiet l, mainly consists of high end hotels, with guests staying in on the evenings and using the facilities of the individual properties. Its a very quiet resort even when I visited at peak season. There is no bars/pubs and only 1 restaurant and a small supermarket. It is fairly spread out but there is free shuttle bus to and from the gondela. There is also frequent service to Soll where there is many more options for eating and entertainment but the last bus is about 19.00. The village has walking trails running through it and up into the mountains, and there is a beautiful lake a short distance away. The ski area itself isn't the highest but had plenty of snow when I visited. Definitely enough of an area to explore in a week's trip. Beautiful area I would recommend this resort if you like a quiet relaxing holiday.

Scheffau is a beautiful village, located 1 km above the Main Street. You can reach it via train or plane plus taxi or car rental. You might not need your own car during your ski holiday. Ski Busses bring you to the cable car station. Hotel Alpin offers full board, if you like.

The place is very focused on skiing, lacks other entertainment.
Great slopes and plenty of them, comfortable ski rental and deposit station to put on dry and warm boots the next day.
Literally, a couple of places to go for an evening meal. Most of the restaurants accept only cash.
Could be windy / rainy.

We came to Scheffau to ski and in this apartment we found everything that we needed for 5 days of skiing.
It is really spacious with 2 bedrooms, huge bathroom and a small kitchen combined with dining room. Nice terrace that must be really lovely to use in spring and summer.
The apartment is situated in a lovely, peaceful area in upper Scheffau- to get to the shop you need a car. To Skiwelt area you can easily get by ski bus.
The host- Andreas is very nice and helpful.
We can definitely recommend this spot!

Everything - location was excellent! Across the road from the gondola and après-ski bar. Restaurant on site - great for breakfasts. Has everything you need for a weekend ski trip. The big 8 person apartments are an excellent use of space with a loft-style mezzanine that sleeps 4. Be aware, there is no washing machine - expected as it wasn’t advertised, but good to know if going for longer ski trips.
Clean, well equipped and comfortable. We were able to store our skis in the apartment's storage room in the ski shop which is just right next to the Gondola, very very convenient! This was very helpful, made our ski trip more comfortable, we didn’t need wearing heavy ski boots and holding skis to take ski bus!
This place is amazing. I would not hesitate to book there again. The staff is extremely helpful, the entire hotel is very clean, the location is perfect, and the surroundings could hardly be any more beautiful. I also really enjoyed the free afternoon snack, which is generous and delicious.

The beautiful hotel in Alps. Apart from the breakfast they also provide a free buffet from 4PM to 7PM with different snacks and drinks including wine and beer so you can have a dinner in the hotel.
The room is cozy, we had balcony with a gorgeous view to the town and mountains.
Tha Gasthof was lovely. Location perfect for hikes into the Wilder Kaiser, also the free local bus stopped right outside the front. Our room was incredibly clean and the bed very comfortable. Meals were fresh and delicious, with friendly waiters.
very nice and helpfull stuff
everything was very clean
one day we wanted to leave earlier around 6:45am do to long hike - so we were thinking to skip breakfast, but they prepared our breakfast to 6:30 so we could enjoy it even this soon
