Very comfortable hotel on the premises of a "real traditional castle" with a long authentic history but adjusted to modern standards of comfort. The atmosphere on entry is unique as is the character of each of the spacious rooms. Ours was equipped with spacious bath tub as well as shower; other traditional features of the castle (library, chapel, Rittersaal) are accessible to guests, unfortunately not the splendid castle garden.
Super cosy, sparkling clean and nice place. The breakfast is very good and there are plenty of options for vegetarians (avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, yogurt, delicious bread (yummy!), butter, coffee/ tea, juice, cheese, cereal etc). The hotel manager is very friendly and helpful. The bus stop and cable car station are just across the road, large grocery store is just 3 min walking distance. Overall, highly recommended.
A perfectly equipped, spacious apartment with a really nice owner. It's a bit too much for a single visitor but undoubtedly perfect for a family.
In terms of location, it's a mere 2 and 7 minutes away from Reith and Wildschönau Ski Jewel lifts respectively, and some 10 minutes of walk from the magical town of Reith im Alpbachtal.
Attention to detail was fantastic.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The bar was super cosy.
The spa area exceeded our expectations.
The maisonette room worked brilliantly for 2 adults & 2 children.
The hotel is just 10mins from the main ski lift lift (via free bus only 150 meters from the hotel).
Easy to find, but many buildings are "Kirchenwirt". Secure bike and ski storage. Fantastic sauna/pool/wellness center in the keller. The restaurant is open to only hotel customers on Wednesdays.
Overall a good hotel to stay in: beds are comfortable, the food is great (particularly the Sunday bbq), the view is good, and the family running the hotel clearly care deeply for their guests.
within walking distance to Main Street Reith Im Alpbachtal. We chose this location to watch the cows come home. It is very roomy and fit our family of 4 well also with our 2 dogs.
Beautiful location, very nice and supportive staff, play yard for children, nice surroundings, the passes given by the hotel to roam around places free of charge.
Excellent hotel and staff. In the center of Reith im Alpbachtal. Very near the ski lift. Room and food was exceptional. Great value for money. Will return
