Ramsau is amazing, beautiful scenery, many restaurants and attractions, especially for kids. The local Erlebnisbad (aquacenter) is amazing, nearby Rittisberg is absolutely wonderful for kids. Many lifts closeby within a short driving distance, the Dachstein main lift basically right in Ramsau.

Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking, ferrata (klettersteig in Germain), running, or skiing. I stayed here with 10year old daughter and we could find lots of activities together and she liked it as I did.

we went to this area because we want to visit the Dachstein...
we went to this area because we want to visit the Dachstein Glacier! if u want to visit it u need to book your Gondola seat (ascent and descent) at this website https://www.derdachstein.at for an extra it is possible to visit also the ice palace! it is very interesting! inside u can find many ice sculptures! but pay attention because if u want to visit it u need to cross the suspended bridge! and if you suffer from vertigo ... but it is a unique experience!!!

During our stay, we visited Rittisberg coaster, Silberkar watterfalls and finally magnificient Dachstein. It was all great, lots of hiking trails. Just be careful - it's nearly impossible to buy anything anywhere on Sunday and restaurants are closing usually around 18pm. Otherwise we liked everything!

Several restaurants with excellent typical austrian food, but kitchen closes usually at 20.30h latest. Stunning panorama when good weather, amazing views onto Dachstein mountain. Plenty of walking and hiking tours available, including climbing. Prices are comparable to Germany, so not a cheap location but worth the money.AlfSpain

The apartment is very comfortable, very good equipped. Lydia was so warm and helpful, on the arrival provided with maps and plenty of information on hikes, restaurants and was always available for any question. We stayed for a week and it was so hard to say goodbye to such a charming gem. Definitively we will be back.MaraIsrael

The hotel offers free parking and upon entering, you are welcomed by more than attentive staff. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous and more than rich. We also dined at the hotel and all the meals were greatly cooked and meticulously designed and prepared. The wellness is great and offers plenty of possibilities to relax.
