Pfunds is a delightful alternative to Nauders and the other Reschenpass hotels when you are travelling through Austria. I spent some time looking for a stopover venue, and was somewhat worried by the hotel prices - lower than most of the rest: would they be as good? Great facilities within the hotel, which was very modern and clean and had a very relaxed welcoming feel to it. A lot of motorcyclists and bicyclists use the hotel as a stopping over point, but so were we in our Jaguar XK convertible, so that was not an issue. The food was very good, both the evening meal and breakfast.
