Pfunds is a delightful alternative to Nauders and the other Reschenpass hotels when you are travelling through Austria. I spent some time looking for a stopover venue, and was somewhat worried by the hotel prices - lower than most of the rest: would they be as good? But if St Lukas is anything to go by, the hotels are perfectly wonderful.JohnUnited Kingdom

The parking seemed to be full, but we were told where we could still park on the hotel grounds. We also got some recommendations to eat in the little village which was great. Our host was just great! Our room was on the top floor and rather large with a nice scenery view from the balcony. We had contacted the pension before with our arrival time and they had heated up the sauna just for us, which was also great. Breakfast was tasty and was a good start into the day.

It is a beautiful residential part of Pfunds and was a perfect base location for us to go out and explore the surrounding area. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. Note that if you come by bicycle, I recommend to use the bicycle road on the other side of the river instead of the main car road. Also, a safe and dry bicycle parking spot is available! Rate 10/10
