For such a small town in the alps, there was quite a lot going on in Niederau. There are several bars and restaurants, as well as a couple of supermarkets and to ski pistes, which are unfortunately not connected, but there is a bus between the two.

Manager was helping us out without asking. Hotel is typical Austrian mountain style, everything as clean as possible. Nice view of the mountains from apartments. During the last months the owners renovated many rooms and also the restaurant looks nicer than the pictures. Food was cooked by the owner himself and was really delicious. The sportive ski pistes from Niederau are on walking distance and the ski area of Auffach-Alpbach is only a couple of minutes by skibus away.

Pool, sauna, steam fantastic after day skiing. Close to several ski resorts, some slopes directly opposite. Good food served at dinner with choice of main.
