Attractive alpine valley town. Good restaurants and a cosy cafe. Be warned, however: Austrians like to dine earlier than any other nation I've encountered, so make sure you reach a restaurant/hotel by seven o'clock - kitchens close 7.30 - 8.00.
Locals were very friendly and helpful, at least to this non-German speaking idiot whose sat/nav took him to a lumber yard some few kilometres from his hotel.

I arrived on Tuesday the 19th October, when all the restaurants were closed, but managed to find supper in near(ish) Miemming. Be warned that even on days when they are open, restaurants in this area tend to stop serving at eight P.M. Plan you arrival accordingly! Nassereith is an attractive town somewhere near the bottom of the north side of the Fernpass. A couple of churches - one obviously Catholic, with it's Italianate cupola, the other more austere Protestant, but nonetheless beautiful. Nice mountain scenery, friendly locals, and excellent local beer and cuisine. Local-ish wines are worth sampling, too.
Great place! Mrs Eiter and her husband are a very lovely family and their house is super comfy. We have enjoyed our stay there. The hosts were easygoing - we were mumbling some German words to them yet still we have managed to have a nice conversations and arrange everything well :) Nassereith is a nice village too, but you must be equipped with cash.
A nice and clean hotel equipped with all amenities as described. VERY NICE view from the window, The host, the hospitality and all around organisation of our host was exceptional! Great restaurant in the building with very good breakfast We were extremely happy with our stay and we would like definitely come back. I realy recommend.
The grounds include some very easy hikes around the lake and free access to paddle boats and canoes. There is an on site restaurant, and they are very accommodating with late check-in. If you are arriving after the kitchen closes, you can notify the hotel and they will set aside a cold plate for you when you arrive.
Hospitality is amazing! The owner is really helpful and very friendly. Good breakfast and excellent location to discover Tirol. The room was new and very large. The shower is outstanding. Plenty of free parking spots in front of the hotel. We can only recommend staying in this hotel!
Amazing view and the house feels amazingly homely. Not like a hotel at all. But be aware that you should travel here by car. It´s possible to take a public bus, like we did, but the bus only comes three times a day.
Very clean and comfortable place to stay.
Great hospitality.
Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.
Quiet and calm environment in the beautiful Alps.
