Very easy to get to by public transport. Always snow in Mayrhofen. Very convenient for gondolas up the mountain. Lots of ski hire places which are quick and efficient (no hanging around). Loads of nice shops cafes bars and restaurants. Lively resort but even though our room was right in the centre of apres ski activities it wasn't noisy once inside our room.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

With the skipass Zillertall you have access to 5 skiresorts. Depending on the weather, you can choose where to ski. All are located close to each other and less then 20 minutes by car. All the resorts have free parking available and the parkings are close to the skilifts. Mayrhoven is a nice town, with lots of restaurants, bars, shops,,,

Stayed at Neuhaus Zillertal Resort Hotel. Lovely accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Nice town with a number of good restaurants and shops. Frequent buses serve the entire area and Penkenbahn gondola which delivers you to a vast ski area is just 5 minutes away.

And definitely, this is one of reasons, why I would recommend this hotel for stay. There is also a sauna and Turkish bath, so you can relax next door to your apartment. We were 4 people and we choose one apartment for all - and we got quite bizarre apartment. It consists of two rooms, but both rooms was in line from entrance door to window. It’s a great location with a few mins drive from the nearest ski lift. They have a bus service with regular timings to and from the hotel to ski lift. She helped me to arrange digital guest card ahead then I can use free public transport to Mayrhofen from Jenbach on checking day. Due to there are two days that apartment non occupied, Ruth told me that I can late check out. Also I found microwave wasn’t working, she bought new one in 20mins. That’s very effective.
